Update on MySchoolBucks/Food Service Account Balances

As you may recall from previous Food Service Department messages, MySchoolBucks was disabled in September.  Since that time, all student food service transactions have been manually recorded (payments and purchases) and maintained.  With the implementation of an upgraded point of sale software system, reconciliation of accounts is anticipated to be completed before the holiday break.  
 
When this occurs, all manually recorded meal transactions from September through December will be deducted from the remaining balance in your child’s MySchoolBucks account.  We realize this may cause your account to have a negative balance.  We understand this will occur right before the holiday season.  Therefore, we plan to work with families to allow plenty of time to pay for the meals that were charged during the outage period.  

Further instructions and information on working with our Food Service department on this will be provided in the e-mail that is sent when MySchoolBucks is restored.  
 
In the meantime, you may continue to fund your child’s account by sending cash or checks (made payable to the SASD Food Service Department).  Please include your student’s name and I.D. on the check.  Separate checks for each student are required.
